I too have a laptop LCD that I could use a controller for. It's out of an old Sager laptop, 15" 1600x1200.

Are laptop screens any better/worse then desktop LCD screen when it comes to PJs?

hoagtech, I couldn't find any controllers for that panel. Since the resolution is only 800 x 600, you probably won't find a cost effective solution. You might want to look at this. It's 10.2" diagonal and has a resolution of only 800 x 480, but it has its own controller.

MyYz400, without the exact make and model of the LCD panel, I can't search for a controller for it.

I seem to remember someone saying they found a guy on ebay that could make controllers for 35 dollars but you would have to wait three weeks. Ring any bells?
