I've created an account, I login in and I get a pop up about secure site bla, bla. I click okay to view secure site and presto it brings me back to
the login screen? I've tried other sites and shopping carts, banking etc. works perfect. Should I be doing something else to IE8? unsure.gif

Best Regards,

Anton Zedd.
P.s. javascript error I'm getting is on line 188 character 5

What exactly does the error message say?
Can you post a picture of the error message - you can copy the current window to your clipboard by pressing Ctrl + PrtScn and then paste it into MS Paint and save it as a .gif image.

Here's a hint for future errors. You can usually Google the error message (or part of it) and find somebody else who has already run into the problem - and most likely, somebody else who has provided a fix.

Google: "Do you want to view only the web page content that was delivered securely?"
It looks like it's a new problem, however, the first Experts-Exchange URL (they usually always charge for assistance) leads us to this page.

Which provides us with a fix:

As mention in the previous blog post, an IE user you can disable this warning by:

1. Going to Tools->Internet Options->Security
2. Select the 'Security' tab
3. Click the 'Custom Level' button
4. In the 'Miscellaneous' section change 'Display mixed content' to Enable

That takes care of the pop-up msg and error (thanks:), but the login and the shopping cart still doesn't seem to work? I type in user and pass hit login and it brings me back to the same login screen? Does the shopping cart and user login (authentication) work for you?
Quasi_Mojo
Does the forum show you as logged in (in the top left corner)?
I have not used the LL store since they made the changes.
You might want to try using the Firefox browser.

Re: How to troubleshoot 'null' is null or not an object js error?

I've seen that error when I forget to use ClientScript.GetPostBackEventReference for dynamically loaded controls. I believe it gives the control the ability to post back to the server.

So the problem is not on my end after all. I knew i wasn't going crazy hehe. Can anyone verify this error?

I was able to log into the store using my old login info. Had to reset my password, as I couldn't remember it - and managed to login without any problems (using Firefox).

I tried the same thing in IE7 (not going to install IE8 until they work the bugs out - or force me to update) and received the first "Do you want to view only the web page content that was delivered securely?" error, but was able to successfully log in.

Must be an IE8 thing.

Rather, I get the following error - twice:
