Hi, one month later I bought a dbx driverack pa processor, to use with my old audio system (I bought them from 1986 to 1992) I have DIY 3 way speakers, was the first to do in 1986 without knowledge of sound. I have too 2 peavey amps CS800 (they have a lot of dust but are still working, raelly good amps). Now i want to recover my sund sysytem.
The original idea was change the EQ and at the same time adds a crossover. The driverack do much more, but now I have the problem with the electronic balanced input/output of this processor.
I will try to do my own converter becouse I need 2 for unbalanced to balanced XLR outputs and 6 converter for balanced to unbalanced XLR inputs. I looked in internet and is really expensive to me now. If I use cable converter the signal down 6 db then I don't want to use it.
My question is, where I can obtain the electronic circuit to make by myself those converters?
I hope you answer and thanks.
Note: Is the first time that use this post or anny post, so I hope you understand me.

I'm quite impressed with the stuff at the ESP pages for audio...
Balanced line drivers: (Need a +/- 15V PSU)Preamp Power supplyFrom the balanced line driver circuit, it's pretty easy to reverse engineer the balanced to unbalanced circuit. Basically you invert the negative signal in the same way that the balanced driver circuit inverts the unbalanced signal, and then you sum it with the positive signal. This will work to eliminate any common noise on the balanced signal line.
Oh, and...
Linkwitz-reilly aligned active crossoverExpandable graphic equaliserThe equaliser is intended as an 8 channel 1/3 octave subwoofer equaliser, but the article gives the instructions on how to change the Q and center frequency of the equaliser, from which you can make it full spectrum, or you can expand the overall equaliser using multiple boards to 16, 24 or 32 channels.

Sorry don't know this site before. I paid a lot of money by the Dbx to obtain a good sound. I don't have the mic yet but in some months
I will buy it. In the middle I will fix and modify my speakers. That's that I was looking for SupraGuy, that I'll be in contact.
Thank you verry much.
