Alright, I got an inexpensive LCD off a Gateway Profile2 computer. Works great nice resolution on that computer. Only one problem. It has the raw video to hardware hookup *see picture* not a female VGA cable end. Any idea of how to get this to work. The monitor isnice and compatible, so I would like to get it working.
Does anyone think it would work to take the VGA caple off a CRT monitor?

If the monitors electronics does not have the circuitry to handle VGA input your tough out of luck. Unfortunitly I personally know nothing of this monitor to tell ya.

It's vga compatable, it just needs the cord. Any ideas on where i can get one?

I would ask Gateway if they sell an adapter.

Hmm, I'd be a little concerned about these two...
But hey, you can build your pj with it, and for $65 you're not out much should you decide to upgrade the LCD to something with better specs down the road...

not much help, but if you can find a specific model name then just google it for adapters...
but you've probably tried that already, sorry.
