Full Version: Rear Projection project
Hey, all. Just thinking of fun projects to do over the summer and thought it would be fun to build a rear projection tv. I want to use this just like a regular tv with Hdmi ports for PS3, a tuner for over the air hd tv, and component or composite for wii. I also had a lot of other things to use this for therefore needing lots of ports. I thought it would be easiest to use a controller board off of a current lcd tv, therefore having the interface and such as a regular tv would. Is this possible? If so, where could i find a replacement controller board like that? Thanks!

It's possible but probably about 1/3 more difficult than doing a simple diy projector. Check out the rptv forum.
