i ordered a p7 led. and some other things to retrofit this into my projector.

my driver is on backorder for a week. then after its sent itll be 3 weeks all together.

i was wondering if i can build some ghetto driver. just to use temporarily till i recieve mine.

i think the p7 takes 2.8A and 3.6-3.8V

i was thinking a power supply. like for a phone, or psp or something like that which would be low amps and low voltage.

or would it be as simply as wiring up a voltage regulator and a resistor onto a heatsink??

i really dont wanna fry my led!

yeah, you can build your own driver. the led needs a current controlling device. look up "instructables" on google then power leds.
