Full Version: eballast wiring

Need help wiring I know some stuff but I hope there is some easy way? The eballast has 4 wires no switch to turn on I have 2 bulbs and 2 sockets just need help wiring to plug in or make a switch pics and info would help alot!

There should be a label on the side that says what each wire does. You need to add a switch on the input wires, or just plug in/unplug to turn it on and off.

Be very careful that you get the input and output wires correct. Connecting 120V to the output wires is a quick way to toast an eBallast.

There will be a label identifying input and output.

Please provide the make and model number for the ballast.

leke lighting 400w model#LKEB-400MHD

has 4 wires blue and brown on each side 2 wires on eaxh side has output and input side.

Easy.

Connect your AC to the input wires. Brown goes to live, Blue goes to return.

For the output it doesn't REALLY matter which goes to which, however, convention is to put the live connection to the center of the socket, and return to the outside of the socket.
