Well first off, I want a cnc machine mainly to create the following,

The case there made out of aluminum and plastic. I was thinking of paying someone to make it for me, but then I saw this and thought, why not build a cnc machine, then I can produce quite a few of these for many projects, as well as have other uses for it. First off, how much would something about 3x2 (or 3x3, 3x2.5, just something like that) that is capable of this cost? Any information databases with good tutorials to make one of these? Also, how many hours do you pros put on making one? I have time for sure, I mean I will be fine if this project takes many months, but the idea of the convenience of making my own cases at a low cost, could easily make up for all of that.

I know all I need to do is read up on this, get educated on the topic, source the parts, get a good tutorial and I'm set for the making of it.

Or even, how much would someone charge to build a case like that from a CNC machine? Like I said, I don't know if I'll go this route, as have the machine myself may help a lot, but it is an option.
