Hi there, I'm going to soon be starting a 15.4" WUXGA project, and I have a few questions before i begin.

I understand I can use the 395A and b from 3dlens but i am not clear on which goes first and second from the focalcalc program, it only lets me decide one of the focal lengths in split mode.

Also the 18" beseler lens in focal calc would that then have a "triplet fl" of 457.2 mm (18"->457.2 mm)

what is the reccomended ballast size if i am going metal halide? is 175W ok for this application? does light wattage only affect throw distance?

Where can i find the cheapest WUXGA controller? and on the MSI controller can i run everything through Dscaler 4 on my PC running at 1920X1080? i notice people say that the msi controller only supports 1:1 pixel mapping at 1920X1200

thats about it, thanks for all the help in advance!!

You will want longer focal lengths than those for one of the lenses.

Do some basic reading on DIY projector design.
That will let you know more about the fresnels, and what FLs you need for them. Read the FAQ. Really.
Johnzo1995 sells WUXGA panels and controllers at a reasonable price.
