Hi,
I've just stripped a 7" LCD TV.
When I fired it up after removing backlight, I am getting a band of incorrect color in the end of the LCD vertically.
Band is about 20% of screen width in one end. This Band will show black color for Green OSD. And Red for black color.
Apart from this, I am able to play movie on this from my DVD player.

Is my FFC damaged, How can I protect my FFC from further damage.
Can I stick some kind of tape on it?

Please help!
