I have a Toshiba LTD154EZOD. While I was stripping it out of it's frame I managed to crack it (I thought stripping the AG was supposed to be the hard part, not taking it apart...). I did fire it up with my controller before I destroyed it, and it worked great though.

So now I am on the hunt for an new LCD panel to go with my Pixelworks. I am under the impression that any 15.4 WUXGA monitor should work with it, but I just wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger on another panel.

Has anyone tried a Samsung LTN154U2-L04 with this controller? Think it would work? I'm pretty confident that it will work, but I don't see any mention of it on the forums other than someone posting the data sheet for this LCD. My main concern is that the pinout posted from the Toshiba and this Samsung don't seem to match up. They are quite close, but the Samsung has quite a few more data lines.

The relevant post is here: LumenLab forum post

Can someone tell me for sure whether this screen will work or not?

Thanks

I see several mentions (Google link) of it on the forum, but I couldn't find it listed in anybody's PLOG as having been connected to the Pixelworks controller.

Yes it will work just fine.

Well it's on its way. Thanks for the replies. It is nice to have people that are so knowledgeable and willing to help on these forums biggrin.gif

Hopefully this one comes apart easier (or I'm more patient with it) than the last one.
