Greetings,

First I want to thank Lumenlab for providing such a great screen at an AMAZING price!! I also just bought the step down tranformer and everything works great for one exception...When pressing the remote down button the screen goes up and vise versa. I unscrewed the remote to see if there were any dip switches or something more obviously but no manual changes could be made. Before I got myself in trouble by unscrewing the actual screen mech, I'd thought this would be a better route to take for finding a solution.

Thanks for any assistance on this.

A riddle inside of a mystery wrapped in a fortune cookie:
First off, the "remote" is next to useless, I suggest putting it away in a box. There were a couple hours of staring at the electronics within the remote, trying to figure out what exactly was going on. And, the short answer is "not much". As far as I can gather, it does nothing but ensure that the wrong voltage is powering the motor. To call it 'over-engineering' is besides the point, the thing is can be replaced by a simple switch.

Thanks for the reply on my issue but this is simple functionality of up/down buttons controlling the screen which are reversed. The "solution" presented appears to be killing a fly with an elephant gun don't you think?

I'd crack open the remote and switch the wires wink.gif

if it really bugs you that much
