I have a laptop screen that's 14" and i know it's not wuxga, but i figured i could use it until i got the wuxga screen. I'm pretty sure the controller for the wuxga won't work on it. I really want to go 1080p so if it comes down to it i'll just practice stripping on it. It's a Samsung LTN141XA-L01, probably not worth messing with.

Controllers need to be programmed to work with specific LCD panels. I seriously doubt that the PW controller will work with your Samsung LCD.
