I'm writing this b/c I'm looking for a broken XBOX 360 (red ring of death, flash errors, etc.) to possibly put a mini ITX computer in it. I put a listing up on craigslist today, and I have received a few responses already asking how much I would pay. Well I have no clue? I want to say $20 (hey it's a paper weight to them now), but I dont want to get ripped off myself.
What do you think I should ask for a bricked XBOX 360 in pretty good shape?

Well, you might be reluctant to find one for 75 bucks, because its hard to find a fully broken xbox 360 that cant be fixed easily. The reason is the red ring o' death can be fixed easily for as little as fourty bucks. and its even harder to find one thats cosmetically good unless soemone would happen to drop it in water or something similar. just out of curiosity. what were some of the lowball offers you recieved? if its feasible i might look for one myself.

Why dont you just go to a local electronics repair shop and tell them you are looking for a 360 case? The case is usually the last piece someone wants to keep around.
