I've this ballast and I want to connect the wires of input of the new ballast, to power on the ballast automatically with the power on of te projector. I couldn't tell you, but if it'll help anybody, here's the Product Sheet/Spec Sheet for your projector (HP Digital Projector vp6100 Series). I found a copy of the User Guide, as well. It originally had a 250W lamp, so I don't know if you'd be better off replacing it with a 250W Ceramic Metal Halide lamp.
