I hope I'm not asking a taboo question (I know there was some heated discussion about this), but whatever happened to this? Is it still in production? Anyone buy one? I thought they were totally cool, but don' thave the jack to pick up the tab on one. Anywho - just curious.
Thanks!

Brainchild will elaborate on this if he feels the need but suffice it to say the project was killed. However, it wouldn't hurt - I suppose - to inquire as to whether one still might be able to have one manufactured. For sure though Lumenlab's plate is full and it wouldn't happen anytime soon.

I think the Q suffered from being mistargetted. This community is about building something yourself and about saving money doing it. Projectors meet these goals. DIY CNC machines do too. The Q was a very expensive pre-made piece of equipment. I'm sure some members drooled over it because it was a great device, but it doesn't have much of a place in this community.

I know that Sony released a very similar product shortly after the Q was released, perhaps this has something to do with it disappearing?
