Okay. The topic is "Odd behavior for 1000."
( IE. Stuff your mate wouldnt normally do, but was pretty funny anyway.)

Last night my wife and I decided to go to bed early. Turns out she had something else in mind. So I decide it might be time for a nice toothbrushing and so does she. I grab my Sonic and start to town and she grabs one of the kids brushes because her's is usually downstairs. She brushes about 30 seconds and then leaves.
Okay, I can cope.

But I decide to finish the three minute cycle because minty freshness is always a plus.

About a minute later she comes in a goes " You dont have to do the whole thing."
I mumble back, around the foam "Yahhh..Shhuuurrr I doooooo."

Next thing I know I am in the middle of a 25 minute tirade on everything that mankind has ever done to affront women including taking tooo long in the bathroom. All this while I am dripping toothpaste foam from my mouth in total amazement.

Apparently I am a much worse human being than I ever thought. Men in general are seemingly the Scum of the Earth. This is not toothpast foam. It is a symbol of the rabid disregard for women of all walks of life. Her last question echoes in my ears "How could you not know that?"
Seemingly, we are stupid as well as scum. I wonder how I even remember to breath.

We smooth it out, but the mood is gone. I decide to go for a walk because I feel the need to remove myself from any further basting/roasting. Turns out she is having a review, her user's conference and a software release all on Wednesday. She is the head person for this software and it's made them over 5 million dollars in the past two years and everybody is keen to tell her that it needs to be perfect. To top it all off her mom is going back to Florida this weekend.
She is a major stress bunny.

So I wake up this AM, do the coffee thing and the morning routine. Most married men will tell you that the its always the most delicate before you leave for work. She comes in and starts to rummage the bathroom while Im brushing my teeth. Then the sheer absurdity of it hits me. We got into a tif over me brushing my teeth...

I start to crack a smile.
Then I caught a look at her face and decided it would be better to have a seizure at that point than to smile. So I spent the rest of the brushing selectively biting my cheeks to keep from laughing, all the while being studied by her. I know at this point if I crack a smile or laugh I will most likely be the recipient of a frying pan to the head ALA Looney Toons...Possibly a rolling pin if the kids havent used it for Play Doh again.


I REALLY wanted to say something funny...but I decided I like living just a wee bit more.

Doesnt mean I can't share it with you guys, though.

I would like to hear few stories of mates who flipped the switch on you or just did something totally out of character for them. Not bad ones, but just silly stuff. Cause we ALL Have our moments...

I thought your SO frequented these forums? You just want someone else to place their head on the chopping block next to yours or what?

I'm happy to hear you follow the maxim "If you take care of your teeth your teeth will take care of you."

Are you KIDDING me? Do you think I would have ever told the Dog Toothpaste story with her around?
