About a year ago I tried my hand at some concrete-over-armature sculpture. I picked a simple piece known as the Mobius strip. I'd say it's about 2/3 finished because I wanted to make room in the garage for robots..

The piece is about 3' tall and weighs about 125lbs. It got stuck in my front yard rather than the cast-concrete pedestal that I never made. It is good that my brother featured the piece on his site, else it'd probably go the way of most of my work; forgotten and gone.

Beautiful! BTW you have quite a creative family! I'll bet Thanksgivings are interesting.

In a few thousand years someone will dig it up and paleontologists will identify it as some pagan wika symbol, used in their spring equinox rituals .
Probably representing the circle of life with all its twists and turns. Did you ever cut yourself while making it, because old dried blood would probably send them into a dizzy.

That's quite a Mobius strip you made...If you are interested, I have recently written a sci-fi mystery novel called: "TIME TRIP ON A MOEBIUS STRIP" If you go to my blog at: http://moebiustripper.blogspot.com you will see many Moebius strips made into furniture, jewelry, and sculptures, as well as a sample page from my sci-fi novel and what my novel is about...
