I need a little help with identifying these connections, the proper names. I need to extend these connections so i can place the speakers where i want and i plan to buy some cables from www.monoprice.com

The green square is RCA connections ( Is RCA the correct name? )

The red circle connects to my sound card and i believe their the same as a microphone jack but i dont know the proper name.

It would be easier to identify if you removed one of them.

Yes the ones above appear to be RCA.

The others are most likely a 1/8" mini-plug (called 3.5mm on monoprice) but they can come in either mono or stereo, which can only be determined by looking at the "rings" on the end of the connector.

Take a look at this link from RadioShack it shows the difference between mono (one black ring on the tip) and stereo (two black rings on the tip).

HTH.
Cheers

I think GadgetSmith is correct.

From what I could find out, you should be able to use the standard headphone extension cables (3.5mm Stereo Plug/Jack M/F Cable) found on monoprice. They come in 6', 12', 25', 50' and 75' lengths.

Here's a link to your Logitech Z-5300 Installation Guide (PDF link found near the bottom).

On this Logitech web page, you'll find a picture of the cable ends.

You might want a second opinion before buying the cables, though.
