sweet man, I got a projector for the same reason watching the Olympic Opening on 08.08.08. I spend 50 bucks on ebay got myself an Infocus with a blown lamp. It was not too bad after 2 days hard work I successfully bypass the lamp check and installed a lamp I got from K-Mart, the timing is good for me I finish the work in the afternoon of 08.08 before I realized that I have a date with a girl I met on the train when traveling in the Outback of Australia that very night. I end up with the girl in a pub near the river and back home with severe cold and missed the Olympic Openning. She said she want a walk near the river at nearly 12 o'clock that night, I'm still coughing right now.
I have placed an order from China for a dozen of high performance LEDs and electronic components, the guy post the parcel for me said because of the Olympic the electronics are prohibited items he's not sure if all these things could go through custom security check, WTF!!!!!!! It is outbound.
Still waiting for the LEDs wish it well work, if I fail to receive them I'll buy myself a pair of auto use HID kit from Ebay Hongkong, wish there's no security checks for parcels in Hongkong.

just got a message from the seller in China my parcel was detained by the Chinese custom due to the strict Olympic security check. At this stage I have no idea of what's going to happen with my parcel there, I wish they won't confiscate it, still waiting for further information. All I want to say is WTF!!!
