the black (plastic?) you used for the frame around the keyboard keys, did you make that out of stock or was it salvaged of something else?

also how did you mount it?

oh and the way you did the focus is pretty sweet. great idea

the close up pic of your bulb and reflector look like your reflector is way off wrt to the bulb arc... is it or is it just the angle the photo was taken at?

oh i cut out the top left corner of a keyboard: esc, f1, f2, f3, f4 and placed different keys there instead

the buttons on the lcd board didnt match up exactly with the keys so i had to hot glue pieces of cut plastic to the back of the keys so they could reach the buttons and click them
i secured the button board to the keyboard piece using twist ties that were hot glued to the plastic

ill post a pic of it in a couple days i just really dont want to take it apart right now to show you

that one part was the hardest part to assemble on my entire projector

it is way off

ill have to fix that later
as for now it seems to work ok
i tested it out with just the fresnels in and it looked pretty even

Great job!

Those keyboard keys are a brilliant idea! I don't think I've ever seen that done before.

If you have trouble (or are concerned about) getting your lamp's arc centered...
Philw ran into a similar problem when he switched from one of those "football" style bulbs to his 250w replacement. He ended up using a tuna can (of all things) as an extension on his enclosure.
