Hey lumenlab, been lurking in the forums for a while and want to start a DIY projector project. Im on a super low budget so I need to sell things to get enough money to afford this project, so I am selling my mitsubishi HD1000u home theater projector. It is native 720P, DLP with a 4x speed 7 segment color wheel. It is in like new condition with a new bulb with only 3 hours of use in low mode. It produces an amazing picture, and everything just looks so sharp on it. There is not one problem with the unit. Comes with remote, projector, and power cable. Also it comes with the original box with all original documents. Has many inputs including HDMI, VGA, Component, Composite, and more.
http://www.projectorcentral.com/Mitsubishi-HD1000U.htm http://www.projectorreviews.com/mitsubishi/hd1000u/ This is your change to get a really good deal on a really nice HD projector. The price is 650$ shipped within the US with insurance. I accept paypal only. Projected image looks way better in real life, used cell phone camera. Please PM me if interested, thank you!

Since you're new here and just joined today, you probably should post some Ebay or other Forum References.
Joining a forum just to sell something is technically considered spam

I feel like a real turncoat for saying this, and I apologize in advance to the LL faithful, but IMHO selling the Mits to try and best it with a DIY is a risky proposition. Unless of course you watch a lot of hours and need a longer build life (or are averse to the color-wheel, I suppose).
FWIW, YMMV, yadda, yadda, yadda...

sensibull I have already thought about that and the bulb is no problem, and I dont see why people freak out over commercial bulb life and make a DIY because of longer bulb life as most projector bulbs, in my experience, pass the 3K hours in eco mode if you keep it at the correct temperature of which the bulb prefers, which means dont add extra fans to the projector and dont keep it in a room that gets warm quickly. One of the nice things about the mits is that it used a sealed light engine which means, no air filter to clean/replace, just keep it in a comfortable spot for the projector. Also buying the bulb is cheap if you buy them from ebay. Anyway, my reason for selling the mits and going DIY is that for one I also already own another commercial, and I would like to build my own HD projector for the experience and to see what innovative design I could think of, just seams like a fun project to do.

If your interested in building your own PJ I have all of the parts including the stripped down LCD and controls out of a 15" lcd tv and a pre fabbed enclosure I bought off of someone from the forum. I lost interest in doing my own when I got into CRT projectors about a year and a half ago. I have all of the parts stored in a sealed plastic tub. I could trade the parts plus some cash. Let me know.
