Don't go blame ZoneAlarm just yet since - as always I might add - it's actually Microsoft who's at the base of this problem. Their latest "security update" is causing the problems in ZoneAlarm.
The quick fix is to go to "Add/Remove Programs", make sure "Show updates" is ticked, and uninstall update KB951748. Checkpoint is aware of the problem and is currently investigating the matter. The long term fix is... well, there isn't one for the time being.

It happened to me just now. I had 1 PC down, 1 PC running. Only difference was that the "bad" PC had just received automatic updates this afternoon. I disabled update KB951748 like the above post said, and my internet is working again. Just FYI.
