Full Version: Tiled Print Utility for a pdf Document?
I've got a large pdf document and wish to print it out tiled. What's out there to do it with? I'm working with this now so maybe I'll find the solution before y'all do.

If you had the file as an image, you could try the free online Rasterbator:

I found this in Adobe Reader's Help file:
Print a portion of a page
1) Choose Tools > Select & Zoom > Snapshot Tool.
2) Drag around the area you want to print.
Reader copies the selected area to the clipboard.
3) Choose File > Print to print the selection.
I don't know if it'll work for you, or how tricky it'll be, but it doesn't require any additional software.

Does anyone know of a free working pdf creator (or printer) program? I have found the need to use this many times but i dont want to pay acrobats outrageous licensing fee.

PDF995 will allow you to create a PDF from any electronic file. It's free to use, non-commercially, barring a nag screen. You can then print from the Adobe Reader, if you want.
I've used it many time to create PDFs of HTML files, Word documents, images and such.
Note: You'll want to download both the Pdf995 Printer Driver and the Free Converter.
