Here is my general plan. As you can tell, I suck at using CAD programs, and prefer free hand anyway. I am sure this will be my downfall...

I already started working on some things, but haven't made too much progress yet. I am shamelessly using the focusing mechanism that quasi_mojo is using in his projector, (if you read this, I noticed that the PVC extends out kinda far past the lens, will this get in the light path?)

Here is my LCD panel, and this is where you guys scold me. I went ahead and removed the AG from one side (3 hr rag soak with water, came off easy). The other side had 2 reflective layers. I took them both off dry. The first came up easily, the second in pieces. The second left a nice sticky layer of glue for me! Right now I am in the process of getting it off. Tried rubbing with my finger, but that is a pain. Tried alcohol, goo-gone, water soak, combinations of those 3, and nail polish remover. Nothing worked well, and the nail polish remover left a cloudy spot on my panel. While at the store, I picked up some Goof-OFF, figuring I may as well try it. It works pretty well I have to say. Now I just need to finish up with it and get the rest of my parts in so I can really get down to business.

The plan is to have a nice vertical projector mounted on my wall. I am going with an unsplit set-up, and keystoning wont be an issue since it will be vertical (hopefully). Screen will be about 8ft from projector, giving me a 100" screen give or take. I got a tiny room, what can I say. I still need to work out a cooling system, but I have some time.
