Hi, I'm wanting to get a cheap 90 inch sceen. But all the fabric I find is 54 by 72 inches unstretched drink.gif . So my question is this, do you have to stretch the material? If not, what other methods are there of displaying the screen? Thanks.

Ya there is if you want a flat peice of screen. you get some ply wood or dry wall and cut that to the size of your screen, then with a squeegy (spelling whatev) and a paintbrush, you can buy some wall paper glue (home depot, lowes. Ace etc.) you can spread the tack all over your screen thats cut to size, then sqeegy out all the bubbles and ruffles starting on onb eside and making it to the other. Im not sure if this might cause hot spotting issues though. but you would have a giant flat screen, professional look.

What type of material are you talking about?
Are you building a frame for the screen material out of wood or some other material?
What aspect ratio are you looking for? 5:4, 16:9 2.35:1?

Stretching the material over some type of frame will keep the material wrinkle-free, which enhances viewing.

Ok, thanks Hoagtech! I'll consider that idea.

Quasi, here is the link of the fabric (http://www.housefabric.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=848)
It is a 50/50 poly/cotton, three pass, soft suede finish and it's a 4:3 aspect ratio.
And I'm not wanting to build a frame. I will though, if I have no other choice.

Thanks for the feedback!
