So I was looking around SurplusShed.com and found this massive reflector.
The hole at the back is actually big enough for the T15 65K to fit through.
And the Spherical Reflector calc puts lamp arc center at 125.4 mm.
This would prolly be just about right for the T15 65K arc center.
Could you do a setup with the lamp mounted on the back of the PJ (pointing towards the LCD)?
And simply insert the lamp into the reflector, like a headlight?

The whole point of using a spherical reflector is to direct the otherwise wasted light back toward the lamp's arc (center) and then towards the rear fresnel. This is the best we can do towards maintaining a "point light source".
As the setup you mentioned wouldn't do this, I would say it's not a good idea.

Parabolic reflectors have been tried by MANY LL members and there just is no way to get even light and get rid of shadows.

But it is a good looking reflector smile.gif
