Where can i find a diagram for wiring a pulse m135/m155 ballast? Ive got 7 wires coming off of the ballast, and i figure i have to have a + and - for both power input/output from the ballast and going to the socket, but i have no clue which wires these are or what the other 3 are for, someone please help.

Are you in the U.S.? What is the brand of ballast? Is there a schematic diagram on the ballast?

There is but it dosent help me a whole lot, do all of the voltages for the 4 different wires just tell you which power lead to use depending on what country youre in, can i just cap the wires im not using (206V, 240V, 277V) and leave them w/o anything attached

Im in the US and its the m135/m155 ballast from venture

also, do i attach both common (negative) wires to the neg wire on the socket?

One common goes to the white lead on the mogul. The other common goes to the white line in.

Yes, you leave the other voltage taps not connected to anything.

This may be a dumb question, but on the coil ballast wiring, does it not have a ground? There are the seven wires, three of which you don't use (depending on where you live), and then two to the lamp and two to the power source. Or since we use the mount for these, does that count as grounding?

Thanks!

Coil ballasts are usually grounded through the metal enclosure in which they are mounted. Without the enclosure, grounding the ballast is simply achieved by connecting a ground wire to one of the mounting screws.

Awesome, Thanks!!!
