From my previous post, I am now thinking of moving on..

Where can I buy a LCD Controller for my Sharp 10" xga Panel? I am taking a risk that its the LCD controller that's not working. and not the LCD itself.

So would appreciate if I could get one for real cheap... (It has to work of course! )
They used to sell some on Ebay that may be used universally with certain LCDs.. know where I can get some?

Most likely eBay. If you put in "controller" and your LCD panel number, you may get a hit.

As you will see you can get a controller from Ebay seller tywong888. Just read the thread and follow the directions

I think the OP was correct when stating that "they used to sell" those controllers on ebay... From the looks of it, tywong888 no longer sells them. I searched all of ebay for lvds controller, which is how I think I found him last year, and when that turned up nothing I searched his store for "controller", "lcd", "lvds", etc. and I just can't find them. They might still exist somewhere, but I'm fairly certain that they aren't on ebay anymore.

I bought one from him just 3 weeks ago.

He just puts up a few at a time randomly.

Just wait a few days and they'll be back.

Yeah, i remember seeing several of his auctions at one time. and when I need it now, poof its gone!

Maybe i'll keep a lookout if its true that he lists them nowand then..

So, what do you think of his Controller, jonjandran? Does it do what its supposed to?

I contacted him asking if they still sold them about three weeks ago and he put it up for auction a couple days later. Just say if you want the VGA only, or the one with the TV tuner and he'll post which ever.

I need a controller for a laptop lcd as well. i have been keeping an eye on tywong888's ebay store for quite some time now and have been unable to find anything. I sent him a message and he failed reply/take action. where else can i currently get a controller for a decent price? the lcd is sharp LQ141F1LH52. Thanks in advance for any info!
