Full Version: FFC trouble help,,,

O.K.,,done the ffc conec. on old one....now doing a new one on planar lcd , zif connection is basiclly done and having a very hard time trying to get any connection going .I have gone to a eletronics store t0 get find a some kind of zif conection but cannot ,came close ..if some one can help me out ,please do.... I am pulling my hair out now . it has been about 3 months since I had my pj going. This is a 16 pin .5 connection ,and i have the extension and I need the zif . I Have tried to glue it ,you nameit ,,if any suggestions let me know ... HelP ........................................HELP >>>>>>>>>

Look at this link.I think you need the 'A' style connector:
ffc connector from mouser electronics

If your not sure,call Mouser's 800 number and tell them what you need.These things are inexpensive and Mouser ships fast from Texas.

Thanks ,, I thought I could reuse the other zif , but it is not working but I will have to order one ,, I didn't think they would send one out though ,, maybe a dollar,, is it worth it to them ,, thanks..
