Hi all,
This is a repost because I realized it was in the wrong section. Its an oddball question. I was randomly given a Chi Mei 27" LCD panel with an inverter. I scrounged up a loose power supply and controller and I'm wondering if anyone has any good resources on finding cheap LVDS cables. I know its going to be panel specific but I can make it work. Thanks..

I hope you're not planning on using that panel in a projector.

I'm not certain if it's going to be any help, but...

I've never heard of anybody making an LVDS cable from scratch (which is what it sounds like you're wanting to do) but there have been several instances of people extending their LVDS cable, so I would guess it's possible if you know what you're doing. You could most likely find the end connectors somewhere online and use the same type of wires that others have used for their extensions.
The most I could offer you would be a Google search for further reading.

Google search: site:lumenlab.com +make +"LVDS cable"
