These are a couple of seemingly perfect LCDs for our projectors. The problem with the seller is that he only takes bulky orders. If anyone can find a place to buy these individully or the prices for these would be of great help.

And which controller is programmed for these Lcd's?

umesh kumar located a seller who sells the panels he listed, but only in bulk.
jonjandran asked about controllers for the panels and umesh verified that the controllers are sold with the panels.
For anybody to really become interested in this thread, umesh will need to find out what the prices for the panels are.
"Better" is a relative term. For me, better would have to mean at least 720p, which these are not.

Maybe I dont understand iether. Are these ridiculously cheap in bulk orders? If we were to find someone selling them individually would it be cheap? All i see is some mid-tech panels with no price. so whats the point of this thread?

Me too!
The key word in this thread is -=_-BETTER LCDs-_=- !
So what is BETTER?
umesh kumar, why you say BETTER?

I consider these better since the specs are too good for the size. These eventually means smaller PJ which can be watched from a shorter distance as the pixel pitch is smaller which to me is the most important thing. For example please have a look at the NEC 8.4" LCD.It is an XGA LCD which is just 8.4" with a nice brightness and contrast ratio of 400 and 400 respectively.

Now I see. Thank You for clarification!

There are 7.2", 10.9", and 12.1" wxga panels with similar specs and hdcp controllers already easily available (to US buyers at least).
Unless these are much cheaper, I don't think they're better than what we've already got access to.
As far as pixel pitch goes, I don't really see why anyone cares about it. No matter what size the pixels are on the lcd, they will be the same size on the wall for ANY panels with the same resolution, and the same sized projection.

That is a great and fine, we know that there are excellent if not "perfect" LCD's out there for any project our hearts desire but if they are hidden in a where?house in INDIA without any info for a large group buy much less a 10-20 buy then this thread is useless.
EDIT: Ah, I see top gear covered it while I was trying to type this and the guy that sits next to me was giving me a long winded tale of Kansas tornados.
