I recently bought a couple of Philips 15" LCD tv's that were not operational. I have almost breathed life into one of them. Has anyone used one of these for a projector? I have them tore apart and it looks like I can seperate the boards from the LDC screen for the proper clearance. It sure would be nice to be able to use all of the available inputs that come with these units.

I have the samsung ltn 1565 lcd tv in my projector and I love it. I can hook anything to it as is. It is a matter of preferance of whether or not you want an all in one unit, or you want to have the parts seperate with the ability to upgrade down the line.
