Well this question has been bothering me for quite some time now, can a backlight used in TFT monitor be powered without the use of the monitors power supply? Externally

Come on! Someone has to know the anwer!? I would guess that Monitor Backlights run 80Vac, but that would'nt be nothing easy to input would it?
Well, anyones knows why backlights come with 4 wires (2live 2neutral), it seems a bit odd to me!?

Two wires means it has 2 -ccfl's and probably a two-in-1 inverter.
