I think I'm in love with office chairs, after only ever using crappy ones and being restricted to the normal chairs provided in dorms. I think I'm will to spend up to $100 on a nice one, if there is a tier of office chair that offers quality at that price. I've heard that this one is solid quality for the price http://www.amazon.com/Royale-Leather-Execu...5810&sr=8-3. My biggest peeve is not getting a comfy bottom cushion, because I have a sensitive bottom ohmy.gif . I also like a solid lifting mechanism, along with a seat and back support made preferably of leather or something like it. I'm sure some of you have your own office chair or have used ones that you like. Feel free to make recommendations with your brand preferences or experiences. Now only if there existed such a thing; a dedicated Office Chair website, where all Office Chair enthusiasts gathered in the wee hours of the night satisfying their obsessions for Office Chairs with daily reviews, comparisons and affinity for their ever-growing addiction to finding the perfect Office Chair blink.gif . Try and find a office supply store that sells used equipment. You can generally find something comfortable and fairly inexpensive.

I ended up with a chair "similar" (in looks anyway) to the one you've shown, but it was only $39 on sale at OfficeMax... smile.gif

I'm with GS if you really wanna save some dough. There's a salvage store at the uni where I work and great deals may be had there. Personally, I like plain-Jane chairs. These swivel/tilt/raise/lower/roll/etc. office monsters with 500 levers and lumbar supports irk me. Got these ones with auto-locking rollers/casters and you can't kick yourself out of a tight spot without at least semi-standing up. I've actually known people to knock themselves over trying to ease out of a kneewell space because the damn SAFETY rollers were locked and they assumed they'd roll out. <grumble, grumble>

I guess I'll have to do some shopping when it comes time during the fall. I am suppose to be selling my laptop and getting a desktop with in this next week, so I'm going to avoid to the urge to lay down some G's on a office chair... for now!

Durachko, after all of these years, I really feel bad about the whole avatar thing sad.gif I just knew I couldn't make anything better... except steal it and mold it to myself!!!
