yeah thers a lot nintendo franchises, but hey, they do things right:no red of death on the wii haha!
you do realize that you dont have the first wii game on your list......but you do have a 360 game

wii games are all ports or either total garbage.....i do have a wii, but the only game worth playing is probably mario kart....and the bowling off wii sports
hoagtech
May 2 2008, 02:28 PM
Yes, the wii sucks for the most part, just like their last couple consoles except for their first party games. But Brawl rocks man, no doubting that. and so does zelda, and so does mario, and so does mariokart, (not metriod that game blows on wii) and you can play mariokart 64 on the vc, which is 90% of my total wii gameplay. i just thought it was funny that someone who works at xbox made a top 10. its ironic.

well i still have the mario kart 64 on my n64....too bad its not hooked up
as well as the mario, zelda, and ssbb......the mario and zelda tp just could not capture my attention....and ssbb is still a pretty good game, but it has been the same game for 3 different generations(for the most part)
mario kart on the wii is fun and all, but damn they are just trying to do too much with it....i feel like my brain is going to explode everytime i play.....there is just too many things hitting you all the time....and i hate the little ink squid thing because i get hit by one like every 10 seconds...come on, that gets super annoying......I have been hit by a shell, hit by lightning, and inked all at the same time on several occasions......just dumb

Ya I hated it actually. i just rented it from blockbuster a cuople days ago and it just sits on my shelf. i rented it because its one of the only video experiences me and my girlfriend enjoy together, but she hated it too. and whats up those stupid bikes? their retarded. might as well change the name to mariorider. cud there not karts. I like the ink but i dont like how sluggish the game feels. its fluid, but it still feels like im going a mile per hour and getting decked from behind evry 6.7 seconds. same goes for the cube version. it seems from what i feel, that all the new wii games are just the old cube games with new faetures. Dont you think with almost all of america needing to have a wii by last christmas, they'ed have enough money to create original content? especially cus they basically put ir sensors on a gamecube and resell it! i have had my share of problems with the wii. Im always asking myself if this is fun holding a damn wand in hands and the answer is usually no. i find myself playing only virtual console for hours on end, and then smash bros brawl, which is my favorite game, but im disappointed because it actually looks worse than its gamecube counterpart at times, but then you'll do something amazing in adventure mode and forget alll about it.

Some one was asking Why the Civilization series was such a huge hit.
Its simple really. You can choose any way you want to win. World domination , beat them in a space race or even take them over by cultural influence. Its a chance for you to practice making decisions that could effect millions and the play is slow and seductive. Its all the beauty of chess with all the graphics of a good movie, but with much more variation and a much higher chaos factor. It has unlimited replay value and its based on solid history. Plus it lets you answer questions like "What if the goths had actually truly continued after rome? what if the Celts were united?"
When I want mindless, I play WOW
When I want violence I play an FPS.
But when I want a break from crap games with no actual substance I play CIV.
Nuff said?

I knew it was a good game, i heard too manu people say how it was addicting to think otherwise, but the version i played on windows 95 was "civilazation 2" and when i started i was some wired looking caveman dude who ran one space at a time isometrically. that was the start and end of me playing it. I guess its just too comlicated to pick it up from the get go. cant say anything about the rest of the series though, so yes nuff said.

Of all the games i have ever bought, I think UT2k4 has held up the best, I still go online with that game 4 years later.
That, and I'm cheap, I'm not buying UT3 until its $19.95

UT3 is not as great as UT2k4. The graphics are amazing if you have a good enough system (and i mean a real good one) however because of the detail the game seems to be a lot more cluttered in a way thereby making the graphics seem worse than if they were clean and crisp.
The new faction of vehicles are fun to play around with, but it doesnt have the spirit of UT2k4 i gotta say.

Ill do series because I've been playing too long...
1) Unreal - Unreal, UT, UT2k3, UT2k4, UT3. UT and UT3 are killer. Especially UT3, it's slower than PC on the 360, but is absolutely furious play compaired to anything else on a console.
2) Total Annihilation & Supreme commander, all expansions - because no RTS's have ever been close.
3) Call of Duty - COD1, 2 & expansions were fun. COD4 is an epic MP game
4) Warfact - Only the highest quality RTS's ever.
5) Janes simulations - USNF & ATF all the way until combined & expanded into Fighter's Anthology. Too much fun.
6) Quake - None have ever stacked up against any equivilant Unreal, but CMPA was hellaciously hardcore.
Anything else is mostly over-rated.
The Unreal engine 3 (UT3) is amazing because it combines graphic & physics capabilities second to only Crysis, yet it can still scale back and run on crap systems/consoles. Don't down the high end capabilities when it still works on junk. (which happens to be a theme on all the Unreal engines!)
UT > UT3 > UT2k4. UT2k3 failed
