So I been reading All over the place and it looks like the controller that I want to replace will make pic on other LCDs but theres no other controller that'll work with this LCD... Please please someone prove them wrong.

I never got any info from the E-Bay guy that sells a generic programmable controller with remote and VGA, composite and s-vid ins and an FFC.
If I have to mod this board I will surely fry it as I have Virtually NO soldering exp.

Please forgive the notion that a PSOne LCD is even good enough to think about using but hey Im just starting here and only want to be able to play golden eye on the side of the garage this summer. Im sure a full 1080p project is in my future but not this year . or even the next for that matter with my meager income.

Anyhoo I'll love it if anyone can research better than me perhaps if you can bargain hunt too I'll shoot you a bird dog fee. (meager income mind you). Thanks all and everyone keep up the good work on this time vortex I'll soon be calling a hobby.


P.S. Does anyone watch TV off their cieling above the bed like those fancy hotel mirrors?

are you just looking for a cheap small lcd to use for projector use I have one, portable dvd player for sale in the trading post.

I'm not really sure if there is a "controller" available for what is essentially a PSOne LCD screen. On my own project I tried (without success, I might add...) to do the VGA mod. That and the composite input are all I have ever seen anyone use on this screen. I did a quick search and came up with the following web site:

I have never seen / used this site before... it's the first one I came upon that mentioned a controller board. Might be worth contacting them....

If you are looking to play golden eye, is this the console version, if so you could just use the standard composite input on the controller that is imbeded in the screen, if you need VGA there are several great tutorials on the VGA hack for the PsOne screen, and dont feel bad about using the PsOne screen, Alot of people before you have

Thanks fellas. I think I got a lead on a "s-vid mod" b4 I passed out this morning. There wasnt any documentation but I may just need a converter cord and an FFC but those should be easy to find.
