Reading through arizonavideo's Megawatt plog I came across a link to Roscolux posted by yellaasian, which didn't seem to get much interest, but I checked it out and thought it might have some merit. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, http://www.rosco.com/us/filters/roscolux.asp, and check out the last three items. The item in question is Roscolux #1995 Thermashield if you just want to Google it. smile.gif

I've just ordered a hot mirror from B&H, but I thought I might get a sheet of the IR reflective one and stick it on a sheet of Lexan XL-10 to compare. I found one source selling a 20" x 24" sheet for $7.25, but they wanted $24 for over night delivery! Another place I found wanted $53 for the same size sheet. blink.gif I can't justify that kind of money when I've just bought a hot mirror, so thought I'd at least throw the idea out there if someone else wanted to try. I'll be looking for a reasonable price and if I find it I'll do the comparison for my own interest. I'll also point out that while Rosco claim 100% light transmission, the second site I looked at said 80%. I'll be getting a luxmeter, so I was going to check both the temperature difference and the light difference.

On a completely unconnected note, when I left work tonight it had snowed again. I really thought we'd seen the last of it and spring was coming in to full force. Oh well. :sigh:
