I have NEVER had a problem with Firefox.
But lately it stopped working right.
When I try to access sites it doesn't automatically remember me and log me in.
And like here at LumenLab I used to be able to click on the forum option button in the right top corner , now I can't. And when I got to edit posts it doesn't let me choose quick or full, it justs goes to the quick edit.
I haven't installed any add-ons and I have several anti-virus and anti-addware running every night.
Opera works fine and so does IE. I just don't like them.
What can I do other than uninstall-reinstall?

Under Privacy/Cookies, Accept cookies from sites is checked, in the box below see if "until they expire" is in the box.

Under Content, check to see if Enable Java Script is ticked, and Enable Java is ticked

I've found that I need to log into LL every day. Sometimes several times per day. It saves my login and password, but I still have to click the log in button. I thought it had something to do with the server move.
If you did any searching of LL via Google, you may have come back through a link that had alternate formatting. If there's a way to set your LL options back to default, you might want to try that.
I had heard on the radio news about making sure you backup bookmarks before doing the Vista (or was it XP) Service Pack Update. Did you do that recently? Perhaps it deleted your cookies or something.

@PhilW .... Yep all that is right.
@Quasi..... Haven't updated Vista , and I know about the Google thing but now I can't even click the option tab, it won't let me. Also on the left on members name, you're supposed to be able to click that and it pops down with options like "PM member" etc. That doesn't work now either.
Also when I hit the reply button I get no options to add links, pics , etc and on the top it says "Poll options" like I am replying and starting a Poll? ????????

I read on another forum that there was a quicktime update recently that didn't go through correctly that screwed up Firefox for a number of people. Updating Quicktime again fixed it. Couldn't hurt to try updating Quicktime.

I was having that same behavior until I manually deleted my cookies, logged back in, asked LL to remember my info.

JJ needs a Q.
<I use Firefox and have experienced some odd log-in behaviors but I just chalk it up to
