Hey guys

I'm looking to buy 2 set of racks and pinions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rack_and_pinion) or something similar to adjust my triplet with two 12vdc motors. I may have found semething locally, but its around 7$ for one set (addison). I live in Montreal, but if they can ship from USA, that's okay too. So if you know where I could get a deal, tell me.

Where did you find this? I've been looking for a rack and pinion for triplet adjustment, every quote i've got has been extremely cost prohibitive!

a local store in montreal (http://www.addison-electronique.com/), but their web site only displays 1 set (https://www.addison-electronique.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=200547&osCsid=f062e369506f278d272b5f5ddb223db0) which is useless to me. BTW, the rack is in fact a belt, which I plan to cut.

LEGO TECHNICS, has RACKs and Pinions/gears (if you have got than lying around) -i have thought of going that way myself.
But i am thinking in direct drive instead.

yeah, I went to toys R us but all I found was a car and it was like 30 bux...
