So as title says, would it be possible ? Its only 14 bucks so its not a real loss if it breaks.

Only one way to find out... take it apart and tinker.

LCD Digital Photo Frames usually have lousy resolution and refresh rates.
So, no, it probably will not make a good projector screen.

For $14 I would give it a try. No big lose if it doesn't work.

send your $14 to me..i guarantee you will be more satisfied with the results of that than spending time/money projecting this image onto a wall.

Refresh rates aside, I'd want to know what the native resolution of the panel is. At that size, I figure that it's not going to be great, but even 320X240 isn't bad.

Aside from that, this would work well with an old slide projector, maybe retrofitted with a brighter lamp.
