Hm... this is upper left corner of the following picture... I have decided to show you this because I believe that the sharpness can be clearly observed from this one. Below is the complete picture but since I am not allowed to upload pictures of better quality ( 110k) one can not see total picture quality that my projector is projecting. Therefore, I did not upload the picture of moves, cartoons, etc. because I believe that they can not show the true quality of the projecting image. I have chosen to enlarge the corner of the real picture because as you know the corners are usually blur and fuzzy...
Sorry about my English but it is not my native language... unsure.gif

If you use a picture hosting service like photobucket.com, you can provide links to the hi-rez images.

Very nice! What did you use for the supports on the interior?
I started to make an R2D2 projector... project is on hold though. I'm in the middle of changing careers.

Mostly I used wood…
I started making R2D2 before 2 and half years... I ran on to many problems… It has many features. Basically it’s controlled with arduino(http://www.arduino.cc ): 3 temperatures sensors, sound (build mp3 player), keystone correction, focus, speed of the vents, emergency vent positioned in the dome, emergency horn (110 dB :-) madness)… All of it functions are controlled with 2 remote controllers position in the light saber, except one. I even replace polarization and removed glase.

Are you're willing to share some more details with us?
I would love to see how you've constructed this. where did you start, how long did it take.
Also what are your finished specs.. lumen, noise, distance to screen (its pretty big so you would need it out of the way wouldn't you? then again..maybe you've added the jabba the hutt accessories such as a serving plate for your drinks/popcorn? smile.gif
btw. Well done.
