Just in case anyone is interested in Grandview screens... I recently purchased a 120" Cyber Series version from http://www.grandviewscreen.ca/index2.htm. It is a matte white 1.0 gain black fiberglass material screen in 16x9 format. I don't have much experience with other screens but I can say that the color, brightness and sharpness has been a huge improvement over my previous stretched cotton fabric material I was previously using. The screen is a manual version and the one thing that I really like about it is the slow return function. When you retract it, it moves up at a very slow rate to prevent damage if it were let go (much different than the quick retracting screens I'm used to at work). Not sure how many other manual screens on the market offer the same function, but it is definitely a nice feature.
The company appears to offer glass bead versions of screens, but the options listed on the side of the carton mine came in shows gains of 0.8 (for gray screen I assume), 1.0 for matte white and 2.8 (for glass bead I assume). 2.8 is probably designed for large presentation/theater screens where the viewing angle is relatively direct. They also offer tab tensioned cinema screens which are probably much more pricey than the one I bought.
The price was $415 including taxes / shipping (Canadian dollars). Shipping was done via SameDay, which was about 3 business day delivery time.
