Hi, about a week ago i started building my very first projector of parts I've collected.
It's now done. 400w ballast, lumenlab 65k light, 330mm and 230mm fresnel (i think thats the size)
I've followed the guide and placed everything at the right place.
It's cool, but all my corners are dark, i mean Really dark, the photos looks better then in real life:

All the corners looks like that, but much worst then on photo, i cant even read them
Ive tried for 3-4days to find the problem, but I can't!!

There can be several problems.

1st make sure the fresnels are in the right way. The grooves need to be facing each other in split and unsplit configuration.

2nd everything and I mean everything needs to be adjustable. Make sure the center of the lamp arc, center of the fresnels, center of the Lcd, and center of the triplet are aligned perfectly. Then start by moving the lamp a bit closer or farther away. Move it until you acheive the brightest most uniform light you can get. Then adjust the fresnels forwards/backwards to get the brightest most uniform light. Keep doing that until you get the best possible lighting.

Do you have pics of your build? Another reason could be you had 'tunneled' your triplet within a housing that could be cutting off the focal cone of the front fresnel.

sorry to dig this up, i've been trying on and off to calibrate the projector.
what ive found out, is to have good corners, i have to put the 330 lens closer to the panel, but i get out of focus, everything is really blurry.

I have no reflector, could this be a problem?

List the items your using especially their focals such as the triplet.
