Hey all I could use some help if yall don't mind.

About 3 or 4 days ago I started seeing thins on the site that made me think that some changes have been made to the site that really made me very unhappy. I have since concluded that somehow, someway, a setting of some sort has been changed in my Firefox settings. The problem is I cant find whatever it was that ended up being changed.

This is how all of the threads are showing up, no matter what thread I go to read, it will only show the first post in the thread, and a linked list of all consecutive posts.

So there you have it, and I only say that it has to be a setting in Firefox because I checked with Explorer and it was fine, and I checked with Firefox on my other compy and it is fine also, I just cant seem to find any difference between them.

This has happened to me before in Firefox... I'm not exactly sure why, but it's an easy fix. At the top of the thread, in the same line that shows the title there is an options pull down menu. Somehow, that got changed to outline instead of standard or linear+, whatever you're used to.
Hope that's it!

OMG that was simple, but I find it weird that it ended up being compy specific and not login specific (it should have followed to the other compy), but hey thanks a ton.

This happens to me sometimes with ie 7 if I do a google search. Every once in a while it will open like that from google, then everytime I come here it does it again. I use the google search alot

You know thats probably what happened, I do remember doing a google search the other day and one of the hits was on LL, and since then is when I found the issue.

So no more google searches that lead me right back to LL.

Actually, it's sometimes best to use Google to search the LL forum. Especially if you're trying to search using a three letter word - the Forum search engine won't return any results if you try searching for a three letter word.
Hint: Type into Google "site:lumemlab.com followed by a space and then your search word(s)" - minus the quotes, of course.
But, if it happens again, you'll at least know how to fix it.

BTW: This very thing happened to me before and I was stumped, as well.
