hello everyone smile.gif,

first time posting on the forums so before i say anything i'd like to say a big hi biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif happy to be here indeed smile.gif so many things here that are all interresting.

here is my question, is it possible to manipulate (by using the video signal) the position of the image and also the size? by this i mean being able to control the v/h-pos and v/h-size via a small homemade adaptor. This idea came to me because of the very high prices video walls are being sold. i don't need a fancy thing actually as i want to use legacy television sets (the ones that are not hdtv but the normal one)

my idea was to take my xbox system's component line and seperate the v-sync and h-sync via an LM chip then have these sync fed to another chip that will let me controle the advance/lag frequency rate of the signals, since i think that by advancing or retarding the clock rate the picture will move left-right or up-down. also by regulating the clock frequency i can control the size (don't hit me please as i don't know how it really works, this is just an asomption i made from looking into how video frequencies work).

is this possible? to make a small adaptor that lets us modify it with small pots? i know these things are available in TV mobos but i was wonderring how to do it externaly. thank you all smile.gif
