Hi
I've finally got a PSOne screen.
I can't seem to get it to work.
Should it work if I plug in 7.5v DC and a video signal?
Or is there some thing that needs to be done to make it turn on.
The screen seems to have a charge but the backlight doesn't turn on and no image is displayed.
Thanks in advance

on-off switch should be on. If not hooked up to game console select should be on AV.

Got there in the end.
Looks like only the backlight is bust.
Glad I don't need it.
Hopefully the rest will go more smoothly

The PS-One screen is a durable piece of hardware. Good luck with your build.

Getting there.
I've removed the AG layer and done the brightness mod, now I find the cable is about half and inch too short.
Is there any way to extend it without soldering it!

Which cable are you talking about?

Oh, the FFC (flat flexible connector.) You will need one of
these and the connector that comes with it. You can find it cheaper elsware but you really have to look (that and I want to help support LL). I know the one on the PS-One screen is 0.5mm pitch but I cant remember how many pins it is. Do a search on the board for "FFC extension" there is a lot of info about this subject.
