Check this fan out!
What do you think of it for movement vs sound level???
definately wouldn't need 2 fans with this one

Wow, alot of air movement for 1 fan, but 54-56 db! You will here it 2 rooms away.
Might be good for a diy air hockey table though. I will stick with my evercools.

be no good these fans, if you hung the projector off the roof it would have it swinging around everywhere from the air it moves

I second that Moose.
Comparing them acoustically, one Evercool PCAC at 100 cfm at 23 dBA is almost silent, two Evercools at 200 cfm total would be 26 dBA still almost silent. (A doubling of sound is +3dB, perceived doubling is approximately 10 dB) so one FrozenCPU fan at 265.1 cfm at 54.4 dBA would sound almost eight times louder than two Evercools and in terms of acoustic energy the Frozen CPU fan would put out more than 500 times the acoustic energy of the Evercools. Each Evercool costs $10 and the FrozenCPU costs $40. Three Evercools would be 29 dBA and move 300 cfm and use 390 mA. One FrozenCPU fan uses 1600 mA.

Anyone have a Canadian source for the Evercools?

Nexfan will ship to Canada. They're not a Canadian source but you can get the fans from them.
Quote from their website: "Orders from APO/FPO(Military) and Canada: Please email us for further instructions & payment options."
BTW, I can't believe how beautiful Canada is. I used to live in Coeur d'Alene, ID and spent many a trip across the border.

alright, thats sweet 265.1 CFM, BUT 54.4 dBA LOUD???? I HOPE your projector is far behind you! I couldn't imagen watching a movie with that kinda nosie coming from my projector. My custom plexiglas HTPC case makes 25dB and thats loud to me!
