The titles say it all...

I think so.
I don't REALLY console game very much, though I do have an XBox. Most of my gaming is on the PC. If it were me, I'd probably break it down to PSx, XBox, and Nintendo/Wii too.
Even though there are some cross-platform games, the platform itself has different technical information that goes into it.

I guess I'm just envisioning someone having a general gaming question* and not being able to decide where to put it.
Also, the threads so far have already blurred the line...
*Like: "is 25 ms fast enough?" or "what games are fun on a projector?" or maybe something like "how do I set up the projector for multiplayer games?".

Sorry, I pressed (NO) and wanted (YES). Can the Topic starter change that ?

Sorry
I feel they should be apart.
I don't console much at all, if ever.
Maybe add one more section like "Cross platform (PC & Console) Question's here:"

Yeah... I don't own a console system either and I don't really plan on buying one.
I just hope that Assassin's Creed is ported over to the PC quickly - that looks like a sweet game.

I voted no and I mean it. The only difference between a console and a PC is that the console is just for games. At least it used to be. Now days, it's also used for movies, as a stereo system, and as a general home media hub. A PC is, in theory, more multi-purpose, but many people who do put together "gaming rigs" do so with the intent of it being a gaming only system. Most games that appear on one console will eventually appear on and the other consoles if successful, and anything good on the PC will eventually arrive on consoles (usually). With so many games appearing on both consoles and PCs, we could see a metric garbanzo-load of double posts when somebody decides to post about a game that appears on both. Save space and save logic. Consoles are computers and their games don't need to be separate from computer games.

Lol, of course.
If someone was talking about the quality of GOW, how would you know which one they were talking about.
PC or XBOX360???
There is a difference btw lol...
On pc, you can modify the quality, however with xbox you dont have stress on a custom graphics card.

I voted no, for one reason. I believe that having separate forums will reduce the amount of platform bashing/debates, which, to me, is a bad thing -- I'm a PC gamer and I love to gloat. PC's kick console butt!! (I'll make a topic to this effect shortly).

I am solely a console gamer -- I don't know what it is, but for some reason I fall apart when I try to use a mouse and keyboard -- but I don't really see the need for separate boards. It's not like this is a gaming message board.
EDIT: I just checked the GAMING board (this is actually my first time here. I usually only check out the projector stuff) and I see that console and PC gaming have separate subboards, isn't that enough?

Well if console and pc boards combine. They should make a seperate board for MMOs.
