I got a epson elp-3500 for free. the lamp has a life of 4000 hours and when i got it the bulb only had 80 hours on it. this is a great projector for the price i GOT IT. I have built my own also which uses a lcd that gives 1024x768. But the epson is very portable, with built in speakers. Only thing it doesn't have is a keystone correction, which kind of sucks, but my diy projector didn't have one either. Other than that if i sit 12-15 ft from this projector and project a 105 inch screen, There is no screen door effect that shows. Here are some pics of what i projected during the day time.
